Bombas Gens Centre D'Art
Avenida Burjassot, 54-56 46009 València

Bombas Gens is a jewel of Valencia’s industrial heritage. Built in 1930 by renowned architect Cayetano Borso di Carminati, who also designed the Rialto Theatre amongst other significant buildings, the old factory is one of the few remaining examples of Art Deco architecture in Valencia. The complex has been recently converted into a modern and contemporary art centre, a unique site in the city of Valencia, with vast indoor and outdoor public spaces. Located in the Marxalenes district, an old agricultural area, Bombas Gens Centre d’Art is easily accessible by public transport and only a few meters from the Garden of Turia. Conversion of the site was carried out by the prestigious team of architects comprising Eduardo de Miguel, Ramón Esteve and Annabelle Selldorf, who specialises in transforming industrial spaces into museum spaces. The events celebrated in this space will be imbued with its undeniable uniqueness.
