El Palau de les Arts was designed by Santiago Calatrava. The building forms part of the City of Arts and Sciences and appears as a highly symbolic majestic sculpture, surrounded by the Turia Mediterranean Gardens.Since their first season, the Palau de les Arts and the Valencia Orchestra have welcomed such lyrical and musical symphonic greats as Lorin Maazel, Zubin Mehta and Plácido Domingo.In addition to being an international benchmark for lyrical and symphonic content, the Palau de les Arts also offers some diverse and versatile spaces for holding any type of event, function or special celebration and also conferences and corporate or social events.
