On 6 and 7 October this year, the Department of Catalan and Communication Theory of the University of Valencia together with the American university Wheaton College in Massachusetts will host and organise in Valencia the sixteenth international conference of GEMELA. GEMELA focuses on the study of cultural production created by women from the Middle Ages to 1800. The talks and activities will take place at the Faculty of Philology, Translation and Communication and at the La Nau cultural centre.
