Innotransfer: Resilient Telecommunications in the Face of Emergencies

Exploring innovative solutions to strengthen communication networks during crises.
On October 1st, 2025, the Blue Cube Auditorium of the Polytechnic City of Innovation (Universitat Politècnica de València) will host the Innotransfer Forum, dedicated to the challenges and innovative solutions for resilient telecommunications networks in crisis and emergency situations.
Telecommunications networks are key to ensuring safety, coordinating emergency services, informing citizens, and maintaining economic activity during crises. This forum will explore innovative solutions to strengthen resilience against extreme events, focusing on anticipation, adaptation, and recovery capacity.
The program will include presentations from Vodafone, Telefónica, Hispasat, UPV researchers, and other experts, addressing hybrid terrestrial and non-terrestrial networks, 5G and beyond, satellite communications, UAV integration, and the fight against misinformation during emergencies.
In addition, the International Workshop on the Integration of Terrestrial and Non-Terrestrial Networks will take place within the framework of the European iTENTE project, which seeks to develop 3D next-generation vertical networks integrating terrestrial, aerial, and space nodes for seamless, global connectivity.
Together, both events offer a unique opportunity for collaboration between companies, public institutions, academia, and industry to position the Valencian Region at the forefront of resilient and next-generation telecommunications.
