València Ambassadors Club

The Valencia Ambassadors Club programme includes activities planned by MICE professionals for a group of people and entities who are relevant in their professional field, in order to get them involved in increasing the city's visibility and making it attractive to the congress and incentive industry. The programme currently has more than 60 members.

OBJETIVES

Strengthen the València brand as an attractive venue for congresses and incentives
Work to increase the amount of applications
Improve the conversion ratio of applications
Promote ambassador networking
Raise awareness of MICE activity in various production sectors

Who selects the ambassadors?

Ambassadors are selected by a committee made up of one representative of each of the following: Valencia Conference Centre, Feria Valencia, Polytechnic University of Valencia, University-Business Foundation of the University of Valencia (ADEIT) and València Convention Bureau.

This committee assesses and selects candidates and deals with loss of status requests for justified reasons.

Who can be a city ambassador?

Ambassadors must be professionals of national and international renown (from the academic, professional, business or scientific world, or a member of an association), and who have some sort of connection with the city of València.

They must also possess leadership skills in their professional field, the ability to influence, and good speaking and communication skills (also in English). Ambassadors must be dedicated to the city and passionate about Valencia. Their work must be altruistic, and they must have a proactive attitude to attract MICE tourism to the city and be aligned with the committee's goals.
